At last. Book 6 of the Demonworld series has arrived. If you're a fan, its worth the wait. Wodan us bigger, badder and smarter than ever. Don't make us wait as long for 7.
This book solidifies Demonworld as my favorite series of all time. Wodan continues his transformation into a brutal king and not-so-accidental hero. The mythological world Kyle B. Stiff has created here is sadistically amazing and beautiful. These books stick with me long after I finish them and Book 7 can't come fast enough.
Pros I enjoyed most of the book and will buy the next. Yes my list of cons is longer, that's just how my brain works.
Cons Didn't care for the beginning. It sought to give an external view of the main character, but it was a long investment into a character that just went away after. Also, everyone in the book is obsessed with philosophy. Some of it I skimmed, especially from minor characters.
Neutral The book often abandons realism in favor of a stage play feel.
